Over the decades, it has become a trusted reference for architects, designers, and enthusiasts alike.
In its May 2023 issue (Vol.332), The Wandering Walls was honored to be featured. The article highlighted how this eco-retreat, situated on the coastal plateau of Hengchun facing the Taiwan Strait, draws inspiration from the surrounding landscape, climate, and materiality. With its deep gray exposed-concrete walls and distinctive curved façades, the project embodies both raw simplicity and a poetic connection with the environment.
From its iconic walls designed to embrace the strong seasonal winds, to the shifting play of light and shadow across its interiors, the feature emphasized how The Wandering Walls creates a constant dialogue between architecture and nature.
