Located closest to the sky, the third-floor rooms are themed Blue. One room is truly unique—Sky Blue—the only guestroom with a private rooftop terrace. Climb the stairs to an open-air space with no barriers, just endless sky and mountain views. A room named for where it leads you: Sky Blue.

Perched on the top floor of The Wandering Walls, the Sky Blue Room is the closest to the sky—both in elevation and in spirit. With a thoughtfully layered design, it offers a 26-square-meter indoor space, a 10-square-meter balcony, and an expansive 26-square-meter private rooftop terrace, making it the only room in the house with this unique vertical experience.

Climb the staircase within the room to discover a secluded rooftop retreat. Unbounded and open to the elements, this terrace features an outdoor bathtub—perfect for soaking under the sky. From here, you can take in panoramic views of the sea, the mountains, the sunrise, and the golden glow of sunset.

As night falls, the terrace becomes a private observatory. Stargazing beneath an unpolluted sky, you’ll also glimpse the soft lights of Houbi Lake and Hengchun Town in the distance—a shimmering, peaceful contrast to the darkened hills.

Whether it’s the warmth of sunlight, the color of twilight, or the silence of stars above, every moment in Sky Blue invites you into a quiet, intimate conversation with nature. This room offers not just a place to stay, but a complete, immersive journey—and has rightfully become one of The Wandering Walls’ most beloved rooms.

Inside the Sky Blue Room hangs an artwork from the distant lands of Patagonia, Argentina—a region known for its dramatic landscapes of high plains, fjords, glaciers, and desert. Rugged, remote, and unforgettable, Patagonia is often described as one of the last true frontiers of nature on Earth.

Positioned on the far side of the globe, Patagonia is both physically distant and emotionally symbolic. It represents a dream destination—one that is almost unreachable, breathtaking in its beauty, and quietly calls to those with a spirit for adventure and longing.

The artwork captures this feeling of unattainable wonder, perfectly echoing the spirit of the Sky Blue Room. Just as Patagonia invites the imagination to wander beyond the horizon, Sky Blue invites the heart to lift upward—toward light, air, and peace.
