LOCATION & ACCESSThe Wandering Walls is nestled among acacia trees and natural landscapes on the Hengchun Peninsula, at the southern tip of Taiwan. Away from the busy tourist districts, it offers a quiet retreat shaped by nature, architecture and the changing light. We recommend planning your journey before arrival.
By Car
Driving is the most convenient way to reach The Wandering Walls. Please search for "The Wandering Walls" on Google Maps.
The final 1.5 km follows a narrow road through woodland, with no street lighting. If this is your first visit, we recommend arriving before dark and driving carefully along this section.

High-Speed Rail (HSR)
Take the Taiwan High Speed Rail to Zuoying Station. Transfer to the Kenting Express bus, Route 9189 , and get off at Hengchun Bus Station.
Approximate bus journey: 2.5 hours.
Kaohsiung International Airport
From Kaohsiung International Airport, take the Kenting Airport Express bus, Route 9117B , to Hengchun Bus Station.
Approximate bus journey: 2 hours 50 minutes.
Taiwan Railways (TRA)
Take a Taiwan Railways train to Fangliao Station. Transfer to the Kenting Express bus, Route 9189 , and get off at Hengchun Bus Station.
Approximate bus journey: 1 hour.
From Hengchun Bus Station to The Wandering Walls
As The Wandering Walls is located in a secluded natural setting, public transportation does not reach the property directly.
From Hengchun Bus Station, you can take a taxi to the property. Taxis are usually available at the bus station. Alternatively, you may contact us in advance and we will be happy to help arrange a taxi for you.
Travel time: approximately 15–20 minutes
Taxi fare: approximately NT$400–600 per vehicle, one way
Taxi fares may vary. Please confirm the final fare with the taxi operator.
Check-in is from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Please allow sufficient time for travel and transfers, especially if this is your first visit. If you expect to arrive after 8:00 PM, please contact us in advance. Bus schedules and travel times are subject to change; please check with the operators before your journey.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
In accordance with Taiwan's standard accommodation contract regulations, the following cancellation terms apply:
- 14 days or more before arrival: Full deposit refund, less a NT$100 processing fee.
- 10–13 days before arrival: 70% deposit refund.
- 7–9 days before arrival: 50% deposit refund.
- 4–6 days before arrival: 40% deposit refund.
- 2–3 days before arrival: 30% deposit refund.
- 1 day before arrival: 20% deposit refund.
- On the arrival date: No deposit refund.
If a land typhoon warning is officially issued for Pingtung County during your scheduled stay, you may request a full refund or retain your deposit for use within six months.
National Travel Card
Guests wishing to pay the full room rate using Taiwan's National Travel Card should indicate "National Travel Card" in the notes section when booking online.
The booking system initially charges a 30% deposit. Upon arrival, our team will assist with reversing or refunding the deposit and processing the full room payment using the National Travel Card. Without prior notice, only the remaining 70% balance can be charged to the card on-site.
Exclusive Property & Group Bookings
