Ocean Blue

"Letting the Wind Play the Sounds of the World" The design invites both "hearing" and "touch" to travel while staying deeply rooted in the land:
The Wind Instrument (Swiss Edition): Hanging on the wall is a handmade Swiss Cow Bell brought back from the Alps by the owner. This is not just a collection, but a collaboration with Hengchun's unique "Downslope Wind." When the wind stirs the bell, it invites you to close your eyes and hear the crisp echoes of the Alps in the south of the border.
Homage to the Land:
-
Coolness on the Ground: Handmade Shell Ginger Mats, woven by a Paiwan teacher, are placed on both sides of the bed. This is a gentle touch from the architect: ensuring that when you wake up and step out of bed, your warm feet meet the gentle texture of woven grass before touching the rustic concrete floor. This is not just thoughtfulness, but a homage to the historical memory of Hengchun as Paiwan territory.
-
Ebony in the Wind: Clothes hang upon rare Taiwan Ebony, letting you feel the resilient vitality and connection to the land in every touch.
Double Award-Winning Textile Art (SRINLIM): Soft furnishings by Sarinya Lim, winner of Red Dot and Good Design Awards.
-
3rd Floor Exclusive Color (Blue): Echoing the proximity to the sky, the bed runners and cushions feature a serene "Blue" tone accented with "Orange" reflecting the sunset, visually extending the interior to the sea and sky outside.
- Sleep & Audio-Visual: Owner-selected Queen Size Pocket Spring Mattress. Equipped with a SONY Bravia 55-inch 4K TV, B&O Beoplay M5 wireless speaker, and Panasonic Concealed Silent Air Conditioning.
- Bathing & Care: Custom Cotton Robes, Panasonic Washlet, Natural Stone Washbasin, and Aesop amenities.
- Ultimate Hospitality: Exclusive "Good Vacation Set" (Zozola bath bomb/soap, Cedar Frankincense pillow mist, TTM mask).
- Taste of Life: Crate & Barrel cups, Owner-roasted Kenyan "Pink Villa" drip coffee, Pinglin Baozhong Tea, Thai Ocean diffuser, and a Complimentary Mini Bar (sparkling water, beer, plum soju, juice, cola).
"A Landscape Scroll Spanning 80km" Facing northwest on the top floor, it boasts a magnificent seasonal view. Summer: With clear air, visibility extends 80km to Kaohsiung, where the 85 Tower and ships are visible, along with the silhouette of Liuqiu Island. Winter: While days may be misty, the night offers a feast of lights. The distant city lights of Kaohsiung and Liuqiu twinkle on the dark ocean like stars on the horizon.
Ultimate Luxury Experience & Guardian
- Guardian of the Land (Hundred-Pacer Snake Totem): Please sit on the balcony. The Crate & Barrel chair features a backrest re-woven by the owner with orange, green, and black straps into the sacred "Hundred-Pacer Snake Totem." In Paiwan culture, the snake is the guardian of the land. Sitting here symbolizes being gently guarded by ancient souls, enjoying deep peace.
- Listening to the Waves Bathing Experience: The bathroom features an elegant white indoor bathtub next to a floor-to-ceiling window. Drop in a Zozola Green Bath Bomb, and let the hot water embrace you as you gaze at the shimmering sea through the glass, enjoying a private moment of healing.
