A Cave-Like Sanctuary for Quiet Moments

Acacia is the only room at Wandering Walls with a wooden ceiling.

The lower ceiling, elongated layout, and a single picture window overlooking the acacia woodland create a sense of enclosure unlike any other room. Warm wood contrasts with the solid exposed concrete walls, giving the space the intimate feeling of a quiet cave—a place where you can naturally slow down.

Hanging on the wall is a pair of Tingsha bells from India. Gently striking them together produces a clear, lingering tone that resonates through the room. As the sound gradually fades, the space returns to silence.

Beside the bed lie woven rush grass mats, offering a warm, natural texture beneath your bare feet before they touch the concrete floor in the morning. Clothes hang from a piece of native Taiwan Ebony, bringing the materials and textures of Hengchun into everyday life.

The textiles are by Thai designer Sarinya Lim (SRINLIM), whose work has received both the Red Dot Design Award and Good Design Award. Green bed runners and cushions are complemented by touches of yellow and orange-red, echoing the acacia woodland and the colours of sunset. Together, they bring softness and warmth to the wooden ceiling and grey concrete interior.

From the resonant sound of Indian Tingsha bells to the textures of rush grass and Taiwan Ebony, and the colours of Thai textiles, every detail adds another layer to this peaceful space.

At Acacia, the architecture does not draw you towards the distance. Instead, it invites you to turn inward, settle in, and enjoy the quiet of your own world.

Everything in the room is chosen with a simple idea in mind: it should feel good, work beautifully, and quietly complement the architecture rather than compete with it.

A Queen-size pocket-spring mattress with TENCEL fabric and carefully selected bedding are paired with a 55-inch SONY BRAVIA 4K TV, Bang & Olufsen wireless speaker, and Panasonic split air conditioning discreetly concealed behind wooden slats, allowing comfort, music and entertainment to blend naturally into the space.

• Bath & Care

Aesop bath and body products, custom-made Wandering Walls cotton bathrobes, a Panasonic washlet, and a natural stone washbasin bring an added sense of comfort to the everyday rituals of your stay.

• Time to Unwind

Our signature Time to Unwind set includes a Zozola handmade bath bomb, Good Sleep No. 2 pillow mist, and a TTM Rose Revitalising Facial Mask.

Enjoy house-roasted, natural-process drip coffee from Guji, Ethiopia, alongside Baozhong tea from Pinglin, the hometown of the host's mother.

"Gazing at the Vitality of the Native Forest" Through the single floor-to-ceiling window, you gaze at the soul of Wandering Walls. The Origin of Green: A wall of Breeze Blocks frames the lush Acacia forest. In the morning, sunlight filters through the blocks and leaves onto the concrete floor; in the afternoon, tree shadows move slowly across the wall. This is not the vastness of mountains and seas, but the groundedness of deep roots.
